TK-421, why aren’t you at your post? 

My name is Stephen Bayley and I had the incredible fortune to play TK-421 in the original Star Wars: A New Hope. 

You see, in the 1970s I was a young model that just moved to London and took on an extras role in an indie film about space battles or something. I never knew those few weeks would turn into this iconic character for this iconic film series. 

After retirement, I’ve gotten back into acting as a professional extra having been in shows such as House of the Dragon, The Crown, Killing Eve, and more. I’d love to to share with you my stories of:
